Production order for machining Aluminium latches as shown below, we had to machine 200 pieces of these latches. We used a stock plate of nearly the required thickness, leaving no room for holding the plate in the vice, so we machined and ground a Mild Steel plate fixture with 3 holes for bolts to grip the stock plate.

Finally, we machined soft jaws to face the back side to hold the complex geometry.
